summer camp

I have always being consern on sending my oldest kid to a camp, I have hear so many accidents related drawning, getting lost, and even getting to many wounds. There was once a friend of my husband  that have twins they were about 9 years old, and the all  school team was going to a lake, and supposedly everyone knew to swim ,and there going to be plenty grow ups to help all the kids; the day was going smoth till the time to go in the water came; everyone in the water all the kids love the water part, after a while the kids start taking differnt groupwhich of a little hard to keep track, then after a few hours, all the kids were called  and mistakindly counted there was one who was missing that was my husband's friend son; there is a theory that  someone has on the missing kid, that they were playing and he got a muscle crum and no one was close enough to assisted him when he needed; so the kid stayed under water for a good few minutes when they found him he was uncouncious, and they started CPR on him; after a few minutes he was taking to the hospital and given a seriuos of treatments to stablelize him. Sadly to say he had a diagnosis of partial brain damage that had to start therapies to help him to talk and walk, and then start his parents ordeal to make him better.
